I've come across many early doll quilts .. this tiny size is extremely hard to find ..
Children as young as six years old were taught to take care of their own clothes ..
They knitted socks, and sewed tiny patch work quilt pieces together ~ they weeded the garden and pick berries from the meadow to be carried to market ..
Beautiful calico’s ~ Hand Sewn ….

Calico’s are in beautiful colors and condition … brown age tone and brown on areas ..
