This once early lamp .. broken and reused as a pleasing make do pin cushion. In exactly as it was found … old needle with old thread that has rusted into the pincushion ..
It shows a crude hand with much determination … I am not sure of what type lamp base this was at one time …. it has old age cracks that do not go all the way through and old age brown marks or dirt .. I have left it as found … 19thc.
The make do pin cushion material is a homespun … great old color .. has old age marks and hold two old pins … old needle with old black thread .. approximately 5 1/8” tall ..
Once a beautiful lamp .. now a simple pin cushion …
